Danfoss Marks 75th Anniversary with Year-Round Celebrations

BALTIMORE, MD — Danfoss celebrates its 75th anniversary this year. The company is marking the milestone with a series of employee celebrations in North America and abroad.

“We're extremely proud of our heritage and excited about the company's future,” said Robert Wilkins, president of Danfoss Inc. (U.S. and Canada). “From day one, Danfoss had a unique culture to build innovative products, while being environmentally and socially responsible. Such responsibility has always been a Danish cultural phenomenon — one that persists in Danfoss to this day.”

Wilkins noted that in this decade Danfoss has enjoyed global sales growth of about nine percent per year — and a significantly higher rate in North America. Worldwide, the company has 70 factories in 25 countries, 114 sales offices and 22,500 employees.
