Ritchie Engineering Hires New Vice President of Engineering

BLOOMINGTON, MN — Tom Simon has joined Ritchie Engineering Company, Inc., as vice president of engineering. Simon will be responsible for managing the company's engineering organization and all research and development efforts for the entire Yellow Jacket product line. He will also help to define the company's technology and product roadmap.

Simon comes to Ritchie Engineering from Sybaritic Medical, where he was responsible for managing the company's medical aesthetic product lines. In this role, Simon developed procedures to provide proactive marketing support throughout the new product introduction process and developed the company's product roadmap.

Before joining Sybaritic Medical, Simon spent five years with Cummins Power Generation where he led an engineering team in obtaining patents and successfully launching several products.
