Ward Manufacturing Acquires Connector Manufacturer

Blossburg, PA — Ward Manufacturing, Inc., has acquired the assets of Wisconsin Nipple and Fitting Corporation of Milwaukee. This purchase expands Ward's product offering of malleable pipefittings and unions, cast-iron pipefittings and WARDFLEX corrugated stainless steel tubing.

Wisconsin Nipple has been cutting and threading pipe and nipples since 1950, and is primarily a manufacturer of carbon-welded and seamless pipe nipples for the industrial pipe-valve-fittings market. The company also manufactures stainless steel and brass nipples for the sprinkler and plumbing markets.

The new company will be known as Wisconsin Nipple and Fitting, a division of Ward Manufacturing, Inc. The new company's manufacturing and distribution operations will remain in Milwaukee, utilizing Wisconsin Nipple's experienced workforce and abundant manufacturing and warehouse capacity to fill standard and custom orders.
