Affiliated Distributors Meet in Manchester, New Hampshire for Annual Networking Event

Affiliated Distributors (A-D), North America’s largest distribution network, held its Annual Spring Network Meeting for the HVAC division on April 26^th & 27^th, 2010.

This close knit group of Independent Distributors meets for two days each spring to engage in a variety of networking and educational activities. “This year’s near record turnout continues to demonstrate the value our Affiliates place on building strong relationships with other independents in the Affiliated Distributors family,” says Justin Dunscomb, vice president of the HVAC Division.

In addition to a variety of business and social networking events, this year, Affiliates enjoyed a presentation and facility tour of F.W. Webb Company given by F.W. Webb president Jeff Pope. Talbot H. Gee, vice president of HARDI gave an overview of HARDI programs, economic data and legislative issues central to the HVACR industry.

One of the highlights of the meeting was a presentation by supplyFORCE, a sister company of Affiliated Distributors and the leading National MRO Commodity Management and Procurement Services company. Representatives of the supplyFORCE Government Solutions Division announced that supplyFORCE had received a five year General Services Administration (GSA) 51V Hardware Superstore Contract and reviewed the key opportunities that this new development presents to meeting attendees.

Held in conjunction with this meeting are the Annual Network Awards which identify individual Affiliates who have demonstrated outstanding performance, and/or leadership. Congratulations to the 2010 HVAC Division’s award winners listed below:
