EastCoast Announces Fabrication for AutoCAD MEP 2011

EastCoast CAD/CAM announces the release of Fabrication for AutoCAD MEP 2011 Version 3.2, the latest version of a fully integrated HVAC, plumbing and piping solution being embraced by companies large and small as the key to accurate and efficient design to fabrication life-cycle data management.

Version 3.2 provides full support for AutoCAD MEP 2011 and 2010 SP2 (Service Pack 2), providing sheet metal, plumbing and piping professionals with the design and fabrication tools they need to work with real manufacturer content right inside the industry-leading AutoCAD MEP platform.

In addition to the enhanced integration with AutoCAD MEP 2011 that it provides, Fabrication for AutoCAD MEP Version 3.2 contains productivity enhancements for building and editing custom duct and pipe, and new and updated pipe content libraries. EastCoast CAD/CAM is now shipping its new Version 3.2 software solution to customers who have active subscriptions, and has made it generally available to new subscribers.

Soon to be announced in conjunction with Autodesk University 2010 will be a new EastCoast CAD/CAM sheet metal product for Autodesk Revit MEP. EastCoast’s MEP Fabrication will integrate Autodesk Revit MEP modeling and analysis workflows with EastCoast’s real-world sheet metal design to fabrication capabilities.
