Emerson Retail Solutions Appoints New Vice President of Global Sales

Emerson Retail Solutions, a subsidiary of Emerson Climate Technologies, Inc., today announced the appointment of Richard Torpey to the position of vice president - global sales, Emerson Retail Solutions. In his new role, Torpey will be responsible for leading the North America sales organization, as well as working closely with the regional teams in Europe, Asia and Latin America. Torpey and his team will bring renewed focus to Emerson Retail Solutions’ efforts targeted at reducing energy and operational costs of retailers through Emerson’s ProAct® facility services portfolio.

Torpey began his career at Emerson in 1995 as a sales manager. Most recently, he served as vice president of sales -marquee accounts for Emerson Retail Solutions. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in History from California State University, Long Beach.
