Emerson Climate Technologies Appoints New Vice President of Global Electronics

Emerson Climate Technologies Inc., a subsidiary of Emerson, recently announced the promotion of Steve Santy to vice president, Global Electronics, Emerson Retail Services Inc., where he will lead all business activity and product development for refrigeration system electronics.

In his new role, Santy will focus on building a unified approach to product management, leveraging global engineering resources and manufacturing infrastructure, and identifying new growth strategies. He will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining best practices, working with Emerson Climate Technologies Inc., Air Conditioning division and the White-Rodgers business to integrate the electronics efforts across the organization.

“Since he joined Emerson in 1998, Steve has been instrumental in advancing our electronics programs, as well as in the overall success of our Retail Solutions business. He brings deep electronics experience on both domestic and international assignments in sales and marketing as well as product development, manufacturing and operations,” says Bill Bosway, president, Emerson Climate Technologies, Inc., Refrigeration and Solutions. “His track record of success in the development of electronics and software engineering, such as our Emerson ProAct Software, make him the ideal person for this leadership role.”

Santy most recently served as vice president, Product Development and Operations, for Emerson Retail Services, Inc. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Science in Physical Chemistry from the University of California. Prior to his career with Emerson, Santy worked for MTI Analytical Instruments and Andros, Inc.
