Honeywell Introduces the Glowfly Universal Hot Surface Igniter

Honeywell introduced Glowfly™, a silicone nitride universal hot surface igniter for furnaces and other gas-fired heating appliances. Glowfly is specifically designed for service replacement jobs.

Each Glowfly igniter includes six custom mounting brackets that are optimized to replace more than 110 igniter applications from nearly every furnace manufacturer.

“Replacing a hot surface igniter can be tricky,” says Thurman Melson, director of marketing, Honeywell Residential Combustion Control. “Honeywell has made it easy with Glowfly. Contractors will no longer need to carry a variety of replacement parts to match the wide range of igniter styles used in various furnace brands.”

Glowfly is also available in a single unit pack that includes a three-year warranty.
