SRP’s Series U - Efficient Infrared Tube Heater

Article Tools

Following a recent submission of their Series UA heater for radiant efficiency testing, Superior Radiant Products is pleased to report the results were excellent with 64.7% radiant factor.

Independently lab tested to EN 416-2 standard, this radiant factor exceeds the highest marks achieved by any North American manufacturer who has tested their infrared tube heaters to date.

President Kevin Merritt comments “We believe in promoting ‘green building’ technology and this confirms our Series UA heater is the highest performing radiant tube heater which directly translates into efficient operation and ultimately energy savings for owners.” Infrared heaters are recognized for occupancy comfort and energy savings over hot-air heating systems. ASHRAE has found infrared heaters can reduce the required heat needed to maintain a comfortable temperature in a building by at least 35 percent.

SRP offers a total infrared solution to meet all design requirements. They are committed to energy efficiency and have become one of the radiant heat industry leaders by providing high efficiency heaters in all categories: low intensity, high intensity and in-series infrared vacuum systems.
