Thybar Introduces New Seismic/Windload-Rated Custom Bases for Rooftop Equipment

Seismic/Windload-Rated Bases, used for securely mounting rooftop equipment, are manufactured to IBC/ASCE7 rated requirements by Thybar Corporation in Addison, IL. Manufactured to meet code and designed to be competitively priced, each base is custom manufactured to meet varying specifications of rooftop units and IBC/ASCE7 requirements. Delivery is usually within two weeks after receipt of the order, and stamped calculations are available upon request.

Options include built-in roof pitch, additional height, built-in filters or sound traps and a pressure-treated wood nailer. Bases are all welded construction and are shipped to the job site in one piece if trucking permits. If unshippable as one piece, all corners are welded and the number of pieces kept to a minimum.
