Honeywell Unveils Prestige Programmable IAQ

Article Tools

Honeywell introduces Prestige® IAQ, a complete multi-stage system and IAQ control that installs with two wires. Two-piece design includes a thermostat and equipment interface module (EIM) that communicate with each other using Honeywell RedLINK wireless technology.

According to the company, connecting with customers after initial installation helps drive additional service revenue for contractors. Prestige IAQ can help contractors achieve this by reminding homeowners when it's time to replace their furnace filter, humidifier pad or ultraviolet (UV) lam. It can remind them to schedule a spring or fall systems check. Up to 10 reminders can be set from either pre-set options or ones created by the contractor. Automated messages direct homeowners to a screen that displays their contractor's company logo, phone number and website.

The industry's first full-color, high-definition, wireless-enabled thermostat, Prestige IAQ features a patented, interview-based interface that walks a homeowner through the set-up process.
